Our programs
A-STEP focusses on the following areas:
Cross cutting themes include: Gender & Inclusiveness, HIV/AIDS, Peace building, drugs and alcohol abuse, appreciation and use of value based sports for development.
Our different programs allow us to work on all these topics. They are all related together and nurture themselves mutually.
Following is how these programs work together: The Talents Development Program will cooperate closely with the Education- and Community Programs to identify and select talent to be developed in the academy. It will also partner with these programs to train schoolteachers and community coaches. As the school and community league program will feed the academy with talent, the academy will feed the senior team. In this sustainable cooperation of programs, talent can grow and be exposed from within the organization.
- Empowerment through life skill education and school participation;
- Talent identification, development and opportunities for exposure;
- Peace building and community building;
- Awareness and sensitization;
- Community Interaction with peers and positive role models.
