16 teams of boys under 15 are taking part in the league.

A-step reviewed teams on the following criteria:

Age (under 15: in order to prove it, participants shall provide a copy of their birth certificate to A-STEP. If they cannot provide a copy of their birth certificate, they are allowed to provide a copy of clinic card or their report book from school. No other document will be accepted.)
Parent willingness (signature of player entry form)
Number of kids in team (needs to be between 15 and 30)
To create a sustainable league, all teams make a financial contribution to the organization. This contribution will be Ksh500.
