A-STEP Community junior League

The A-STEP Community Junior League is a soccer league for boys under 15 in Uasin Gishu County. 16 teams will be competing. Every team will play all other teams twice.

Besides the matches, the teams will train with their community coaches. These coaches will provide them with value based sports. While playing, they are given opportunity to learn and develop life skills and talents, have group discussions and share experiences and receive knowledge on social topics such as crime, drugs and substance abuse, and teen pregnancy.

The matches will create opportunity for interaction between teams from different areas, as well as interaction with positive role models and opinion leaders.

The league is organized and implemented by A-STEP, in collaboration with local community coaches and referees.
